Changing the core and going after the casual

Recently I have been thinking about the future of the games market and where the industry will be going over the next year or so. Will companies ever understand that you can’t control each and every aspect of the market to be a success? It is unclear to me why major companies will go out of their way to capture a market that they initially didn’t set out to get approval from. PAX 2009 (Updated)

Hey everyone, I am on the edge of my seat as I prepare for another Penny Arcade Expo. This being my second year going, I plan to do things I missed out on doing last year, like going to panels, and visiting with people I know, instead of waiting hours and hours in line to play a game. My schedule is pretty full and will doing some coverage with pictures and interviews for 360Junkies.com. If anyone will be going to PAX09 keep an eye out for me in my 360Junkies shirt and it just might pay off for you. Hope everyone has a good time this year as it is already SOLD OUT!

UPDATE: Back from Seattle and I should be able to go through and add some of my tourist pictures on the blog, last year I wasn’t able to explore the city and didn’t have the great camera that I do now so I will let everyone know when I post the pictures.
